- Introduction
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-
- DcD is a utility to assist DOS users in moving about a Hard disk drive
- directory structure. When you run DcD, it scans your disk and builds a
- tree which relects the directory relationships that exist. Once this is
- done, DcD can present you with this tree, displayed in a graphical
- nature. The current directory will have a blue hilite on it. This is
- referred to as a cursor. By using various keys, you may move this
- cursor to other directories and change to them by pressing the <Enter>
- key. All of the keyboard assignments are described below.
-
- DcD is modeled after a program the comes with Norton Utilities called
- NCD. Hence the name of this program. One of the main features of DcD
- which was not available in NCD is the ability to change drives quickly.
- You can do this in DcD by pressing the letter on your keyboard that
- relates to the drive you wish to change to. DcD does not support the
- floppy drives because they rarely have a complicated directory
- structure. Therefore, only drive letters C: and up are supported.
